Mateo scored a hat trick and the All-Stars broke open a 3-3 halftime tie to win going away in the second half.
The Aces took a 1-0 lead before Mateo scored three minutes into the game. After another goal by the Aces, Sam and Mateo scored to make it 3-2 Lightning. But, the Aces scored in the last minute of the half to tie the game.
Mateo scored in the first minute of the second half and Dylan added another five minutes later to make it 5-3, but the Aces fought back to make it 5-4, and it stayed that way until there were three minutes left in the game. At that point, a Lightning All-Stars barrage of shots led to three goals, by Sam, Dylan and Ben. Great keeper work all game from Dylan and Juan. Excellent hustle from all players.
The win enabled Lightning All-Stars to leapfrog the Aces into third place, with a 3-2-0 record.
